If you can add the ability to assign a custom keyboard combo (in my case, I'd like to use 3 different keys) instead of being locked to alt/win/ctrl/shift, or even just additional keyboard combos in that regard, I'd greatly appreciate it and promptly purchase a license. I'm on Windows if that's important.

In addition, I sometimes lose the ability to use my mouse and keyboard, and I have to restart the computer hosting the server. I want to be able to use a keyboard combination to kill across and restart it. I am currently using across on my MacBook Pro 15 2019 and iPad Pro 10.5 2017, and it works great!

So, in iPadOS 13.4, Apple added trackpad support (and gesture support like three finger swipe up).

Do you think it's possible for Across to add these gesture support. I think the iPad is recognizing the Mac trackpad as a mouse, and it only supports movement & clicking.

Maybe you guys can add a feature where the Mac trackpad is recognized as a Trackpad not a...

I'm a big fan of Across. I use it with an iPad Pro, even without a dedicated iPad client I find it meets all my needs. The only improvement I can recommend is implementing an option which prevents the mouse from shifting from the server to the client unless a condition is met, such as a time delay or a double-tap, in order to keep from accidentally switching devices when the mouse just brushes against a border. My setup - macOS server, and a Windows 10 client.

I use a magic trackpad and magic keyboard on the mac, that then is shared to the PC.

I also have a USB mouse connected to the PC, and it would be nice if when using the USB mouse - and it touches the edge of the screen, that it would not trigger the cursor jumping to the mac.

I've just found across and it works really well !

I'm using it as Mac (Server) -> Windows (Client).
However I think the 'Swap the control and command keys' option is a bit limited:

On Mac I have the modifier keys layout as: Ctrl, Option (Alt), Command, just the same as the standard Apple Keyboard. So when using across I would got this layout for Windows: Ctrl, Alt, Win. i.e. Command is mapping to Win.
Though on Windows the most common keyboard layout would be: Ctrl, Win, Alt, and...

I have an iMac that I have a magic trackpad and wireless keyboard connected too. I run an Across Server on my mac, and a Windows PC that uses the Across Client to connect to the iMac.

The Windows PC is fairly powerful (it has an Intel i7-7700, an Nvidia Geforce 1080 ti) and it's connected to a high refresh rate monitor; the monitor runs at about 165hz (or 165fps).

Love the product! It allows me to share across multiple networks when using restrictive VPNS or mobiles so yay! One thing I would like to see though is a larger layout area and the ability to place more than one device in left or right view. For instance if you have more 4 systems using, one of them has to currently go beneath or above the server instead of further right or left where they may be physically located.

I just started using Across with my Windows 10 Pro HP 2-in-1 notebook PC and iPhone SE this week. I love it even though I am forced to use v1.30 (due to issues with the Windows 10 1809 update) and am also forced to have the PC's detachable physical keyboard attached.

I would love this software a lot more if I was able to use it in tablet mode (while the physical keyboard was not attached).
